Die Unterkunft
Please read the State of VT regulations for travel to VT during Covid-19.
Vermont allows anyone to come in if their county has 400 or less cases of Covid-19 per million residents. If there are more than 400 cases, you can still come to VT if you either quarantine for 2 weeks prior to your trip, or quarantine for one week and have a negative Covid-19 test. You can find the regulations on the Cross State Travel Information page at the the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development page. There is also a map of the Northeast, New England, New York, PA, OH, NJ, DE, MD, Washington D.C., VA, & WV that they update every Friday on that page. There are specific regulations for people who are traveling by air, train, or bus that are different from these regulations, also on that page. Everyone will be required to sigh a VT Certificate of Compliance, which we will provide, stating that they have followed the VT Covid-19 regulations.
We hope this helps you with your travel plans to VT.

Zugang für Gäste

Weitere wichtige Hinweise
Due to the corona-virus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

This is part of our home and we ask that you please help us by stripping your bed and putting the bedding in the provided net bags in the bedroom. We wash all bedding, including the bedspread, after each guest leaves. There is a net bag in the bathroom for towels & washcloths. All surfaces will be sterilized. We also ask that you turn off all fans and the air conditioner before leaving and that you take your trash out to the dumpster in our driveway.

During the pandemic, we will provide disposable plates, bowls, forks, etc.

Cell phone service can be iffy. There is no problem with Verizon. We will provide a portable phone for your use. Calls within the United States are permitted.

There are 2 steps up to the bathroom from the living room and from the bedroom.

There are 4 steps down from the driveway to the path leading to the suite.

In the winter, enjoy many ski areas 30-60 mins away for both cross country and downhill skiing! Or head north into Burlington only 30 short minutes away. There you will find The Flynn Center for arts and events, bars, and the beautiful Church Street Marketplace with cobblestone streets and eclectic shops and eateries. Middlebury is 30 minutes south and on the way, in New Haven, stop in to Lincoln Peak Winery or visit The Waybury Inn for brunch or dinner. Bristol is 15 minutes southeast where one can swim in Bartlett Falls in the hot summer months amongst waterfalls and giant rocks, eat at the Bobcat Café, Snaps or Cubbers - and be sure to visit Mary's Restaurant for a real treat. Vergennes is our smallest city and is 15 minutes south from Monkton where one can find a delicious meal at the Antidote or the Black Sheep Bistro. For more information please see our guidebook or go the the Only in Vermont (Vermont Archives | Only In Your State) web page where you will find many wonderful outings, waterfalls, restaurants, most anything!

Hi, I'm Mark and I'm an artist and writer who also works outside of the home. I grew up in South Carolina, joined and retired from the Navy, and moved to Vermont nearly 30 years ago. I enjoy woodworking and working around our home. Kesta & I look forward to our mini concert getaways and heading to Montreal for a weekend. I also plan on offering a Paint, Puff & Sip to guests and the public in the near future. Hi, I'm Kesta and I'm retired from the State of Vermont, Department of Children and Families and now run our Airbnb along with a budding natural soap and body oil business with my dear friend, Terry. I can get lost in the art of cooking, that makes Mark happy, and have a passion for gardening and animals. We raise chickens for eggs, and they are pets, have the best elderly dog, Kiekie, sweet cat, and hope to add two llamas in a few years. Together, Mark & I have five children and 11 grandchildren. We are a happy couple who enjoy life and all it has to offer.
