I had a great time at the Craftsman Cottage in Mission Hills. Ed, his wife and daughter are very kind, their dogs are friendly, and Mission Hills is a wonderful neighborhood in San Diego. I highly recommend this airbnb accommodation.
The cottage was awesome. Mission Hills is the greatest neighborhood in San Diego. I highly recommend the cottage.
The Craftsman Cottage was as cozy as you can see in the pictures. We liked it to stay there!
I was so smitten with the charming cottage that Ed has to share. The bed was comfy and the whole place was relaxing and peaceful to stay in. Loved the neighborhood!!! It was a convenient location too. Ed was very easy to communicate with and I appreciate his hospitality and trust.
My sister and I really enjoyed our stay. The patio's were wonderful and we were very cozy. Ed chatted with us every day about the neighborhood and local restaurants and shops. Susie left the freezer pack on purpose, she said it was to big for her carry-all. I sure hope I see you all next year. Pat D
Stay here! Good people, good location and good privacy. Ed and family were gracious hosts that create a private environment for your stay but are very welcome in respond to your needs. We are so thankful to have met such wonderful people! There are always some unknown variables when traveling and we could not have been more pleased with the outcome of our stay. Our expectations were exceeded. We just left and we are already looking for an excuse to come back!
One of the best neighborhoods, in my opinion, to stay in San Diego! And such gracious and accommodating host one could ever have.
We had a great time visiting San Diego and really enjoyed our quaint accommodations. The location of this cottage is excellent and centrally located for exploring all of San Diego's neighborhoods. Celia, Jamie, and Ed are all very nice and Lola the dog is super sweet. We would certainly stay here again next time we come to visit.
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage in Mission Hills. It was clean, comfortable and within walking distance of some great shops and restaurants. We had a car so it was easy for us to get to the beaches and downtown. I don't know what public transport is like so unsure if a car is essential when staying here. We would definitely recommend staying here and we found Ed and his whole family to be very helpful and friendly!
Everything about the cottage was just great! Could use a better deep cleaning, as stated by other reviewers before. I did walk into a cob web on the first day there and there were quite a few spiders around, but being from Florida...a few bugs couldn't scare us away. The welcome booked stated that we would find towels in the bathroom on the shelves, but there were no towels. We didn't mind since we had brought our own. The curtain actually didn't bother my husband and I, but I could see it being a problem for others who might stay. As stated in the listing, the cottage is really only for two people. It's small, but the location is ideal and it offers a lot of privacy from the main house. One thing to keep in mind is that the curtains are pretty see through...so I would suggest a curtain that offers more privacy as one might enjoy getting dressed near the closet rather than in the bathroom. Overall, we really enjoyed the cottage and would definitely stay there again when in San Diego!
