Kim and Francis were the perfect hosts and there product was as marketed.
We called 15 minutes before we arrived and Francis met us and explained the workings of the Condo.
The place was spotless, tastefully furnished, and had everything one would need.
There were filters for the coffee pot, oils for cooking and basic spices.
The bathroom was terrific with a good bath a shower with a dispenser that did shampoo, conditioner and body soap. The towels were first rate.
Our Golden retriever, Maizy and the two of us will never stay anywhere else in Portland. With children there, the visits will be many.
I heartily recommend The Hazelnut.
Kudos to Kim and Francis
We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. This adorable little place is very well appointed, and is so convenient to restaurants, coffee shops, a market, Mt. Tabor Park - it's all walkable. It's also a great location if you want to experience what it is like living in a neighborhood in Portland. Would stay again in a heartbeat, and the hosts are absolutely wonderful people.
Kim and family are pros and were super-pleasant to interact with. Everything was excellent: beautiful space, perfect location, lovely courtyard, bicycles. One of my best AirBnB experiences.
I am glad that Brad was pleased with our hospitality. We do go out of our way to provide for our guests. Unfortunately, for us, Brad and Jenny left our condo in an incredible mess which took hours to clean up. There was some type of powder spread throughout the home and even on the front porch that had to be hosed off. There was actual filth throughout the home. We were late checking our next guests in because of the amount of clean up required. We were honestly shocked and distressed that their habits and behavior inpacked our next guests. Some people seem to think that if you are kind to them that it is okay to take advantage. We would never accept a reservation from these guests again.
Hazelnut Condo in Portland was everything we had hoped and more! The rooms were clean and neat, Kim our host was every accommodating, and we had a wonderful time in Portland. We would absolutely do this again. Thanks to Kim for her effort in making our vacation a trip to remember.
We had a fantastic stay in the Hazelnut Condo last week. Very clean and well kept. We went hiking every day on Mt Tabor which is such a beautiful area. The Butternut Condos location is right in the heart of a great food scene. We were able to enjoy many of the wonderful restaurants nearby including Por Qué No? which has the best tacos in Portland, Pok Pok and Ava Genes. Our hosts, Kim and her husband were wonderful. Very responsive and kind. It is evident that they take great pride in the management of these condos. They have the kitchen stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. The king bed was very comfortable and the surroundings were quiet. This was one of our most memorable vacations and we liked it so much that we have booked again for August.
Had a marvelous 6 night stay at the Hazelnut Condo...meticulously clean and well-outfitted, charming decor with great bed and bath, lovely outdoor space to share with other guests and the host was super. In addition, there was a wonderful coffee shop and bakery in the same block. Highly recommend.
We kept referring to this condo as our home while we were in Portland. It was very clean, well furnished and had an incredibly comfortable bed. The location was within walking distance to good restaurants. It took one 15 minute bus ride to get to downtown. Best of all the condo is located in a residential neighborhood which gave us a feel for the city.
