Die Unterkunft
The cottage is fresh, light and airy and furnished in Scandi /Hamptons style.

The house is our holiday house so fully set up as a home away from home not just a rental. It has quality furniture and fittings.

Bedroom 1 at the front of the house has a King-sized bed and loads of cupboard space.

Bedroom 2 has two extra long single beds and on request, (for more than a one-night stay), can be combined to make a King-sized bed .

Bedroom 3 has a Queen-sized bed and floor-to-ceiling cupboards with mirror doors and looks out onto the large backyard.

All bedrooms have top quality mattresses for a comfy sleep, electric blankets for those cold nights and extra pillows are available to suit your individual sleeping style.

All bedrooms have ceiling fans and ducted heating and evaporative cooling .

Between Bedrooms 1 and 2 is a newly refurbished stylish bathroom with shower, toilet, heat lamps and a heated towel rail.

The Lounge Room at the front is a more formal space with a two and a half-seater couch and two arm chairs along with a wall-mounted 49" LCD TV.

The second living/dining area has a two and a half-seater lounge and two arm chairs along with dining table and four chairs.

This area has french doors that can be opened up along with a louvered window to let the fresh air in.

It also has a reverse cycle air conditioner and a 32 " TV.

Off the living/dining area is a fresh, bright white galley kitchen with fridge, dishwasher and microwave, toaster, kettle, food processor and all the necessary cooking implements, glassware and crockery.

Also off the living area is the newly renovated second bathroom/laundry fully equipped with front loading washer and tumble dryer, butlers sink, shower and separate toilet.

Venture out through the french doors to the rear yard and expansive back lawn and garden which is pet friendly and secure.

There is an extra set of gates behind the carport to keep pets in .

There is a dog door for pet access. Food bowls available to use.

There is a huge undercover portico area with outdoor dining table and chairs and lounge seating.

A gas Weber 'Family Q' BBQ is also available for guest use.

For bookings we require verification by Airbnb (i.e. that an email address, phone number, selfie of person booking, and government ID [driver's licence or passport] is registered with Airbnb). Failure to provide the above information may result in delays in accepting bookings or in some cases, bookings being declined.

We do not accept bookings for guest profiles that don't contain photos of the guest or show avatars, photos of animals, cartoons or landscapes, etc.

Only the number of guests listed in the booking are permitted to reside at the house .

If there are last minute changes to the number of booked guests please let us know in advance. We would prefer you to enjoy your stay and not have to be involved in difficult conversations about additional people staying that we were not informed about.

Two cameras are installed one to monitor front porch and one to monitor down the side driveway for verification of booked guest numbers and security purposes. There are no cameras inside the house or looking into the rear of the house or backyard.

The house is a non-smoking house.

No parties/large gatherings are to be held at the house.

Our house is pet friendly but please let us know when you book if you plan to bring a pet.
Pets are not to be on furniture or beds.
Dogs to be outside, i.e. not in the house when no one is home.
Any pet damage is to be declared and paid for.
Dog droppings to be picked up and disposed of (bags are supplied).

Sleeping on the furniture is absolutely not permitted. You will be charged for cleaning of sofas.

If you break any of the house rules you will be immediately evicted and you will not receive any refunds.

The cottage is located in Wagga Central and is 2 blocks back from the main street (Baylis Street).

Down the end of the street is the Murrumbidgee River with excellent walking, bike riding and dog walking tracks.

Five minutes walk and you are at Bolton Park which is good for dog walking and there is a lovely new children's playground and skateboard park.

The Oasis Aquatic Centre is also about 5 minutes walk and contains a variety of pools indoor, outdoor, wave pool and gym facilities.

Five minutes walk away on Blake Street is the popular Pot and Kettle Cafe which has great coffee and is open for breakfast and lunch 7 days.

Across the road from Pot and Kettle Cafe you will find a large meat supplies shop (Duffy Bros) which is open 6 days (excl. Sundays).

If you are looking for the big supermarkets and department stores, Woolworths is in the Wagga Marketplace (along with Big W) about 7 minutes walk from the cottage with Aldi the same distance.

Coles is in the next block in Sturt Mall along with Kmart.

Myer is also located in the main street (Baylis Street).

The Wagga Marketplace, Sturt Mall and Baylis Street all have speciality and chain stores that will be familiar to all and cater for all requirements.

Easy and convenient car parking is either underneath or adjacent to the main shopping centres.

Many great restaurants, bars and coffee shops can be found along the length of Baylis Street and Fitzmaurice Street.
