Parked between the beaches and downtown, Cherry is an adorable 1963 original vintage camper/ travel trailer that will appeal to vintage enthusiasts and campers alike. She is the perfect get-away for couples, glampers, and anyone wanting to experience something different. Conveniently located 7 minutes away from the beach or downtown, you will be near the best that St. Petersburg has to offer.

Die Unterkunft
///Cherry is completely disinfected between stays. and a great Staycation for FL residents!///

Have you ever wanted to stay in a retro camper? Now is your chance! Cherry is an original and nostalgic glamping experience in the middle of sunny St. Petersburg. Go back in time a few decades and enjoy the days gone by.

The warm glow of the original wood mixed with hints of red and mint green is a vintage-lovers dream. Cherry is charming and cozy with ample space for two people but can accommodate four people who don’t mind close quarters.

/// KITCHEN /// The kitchen area is equipped with pots and pans, dishes, cooking utensils, mugs, and wine tumblers... not to mention coffee and cold local beer in the fridge. To use the stove or oven you will need to go outside the camper and turn on the propane tank...then light the pilot light... remember this is glamping - a few steps above camping. It’s easy once you get the hang of it.

There are two folding dining tables that can be put out to make more space for eating. The tables are perfect for laptop use and make two cozy nooks.

/// SLEEPING AREA /// There are two beds, both are pull out couches that convert into comfy doubles. Two sets of sheets are provided and plenty of blankets. If you need more than two sleeping pillows let me know (because of space in the camper, I have these available upon request) I will most likely have one bed already made up for your convenience but make yourself at home and sleep on either bed.

/// BATHROOM /// There is a small “water closet” (toilet) in the camper. It’s an RV toilet. There are clear instructions on how to use it. Just know that the enclosure is small... toilet only. If you are claustrophobic then this is not the air bnb rental for you. Did I already say it’s small?? ; )

There is an outdoor shower that has a water heater that runs on propane. It’s big enough for two people, if that’s your thing. It’s your private shower while you are here.

/// UPDATED THERE IS A NEW A/C UNIT THAT KEEPS CHERRY COOL DURING THE SUMMER///

Cherry may not be suitable for small active children due to her vintage nature.

Zugang für Gäste
You have a private entrance from the alley, accompanied by a private parking area. The outdoor space has a bistro table and a larger patio table with umbrellas. Twinkling lights adorn the private outdoor living space.

Weitere wichtige Hinweise
The shower is outdoors. It is about 10 steps away from the camper. It is your private shower.

You will have a private outdoor living space with tables and chairs & twinkling lights at night.

Saint Petersburg, Florida, Vereinigte Staaten

Our neighborhood is called Central Oak Park because it is in the center of everything and there are a lot of oak trees. It is a red brick lined street with many cute bungalows from the 30’s-70’s. The neighborhood has alleys, which is good for you because you get a private entrance. We are close to breweries, art museums including the Dali, several beaches (Treasure Island, St. Pete Beach, Madeira, Clearwater, John’s Pass, Pasadena, Fort Desoto...), Sunken Gardens, Haslam’s Bookstore, Banana Records, antique shopping, the Pinellas Trail, tons of local restaurants and diners.

I have lived here all of my life and know all of the wonderful places to go and the best kept secrets of where to eat. The guest book is packed full of suggestions. There is something for everyone in St. Pete and you will be right in the middle of it all!

Hello! I was born and raised in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida. I absolutely love our city. I have also raised my family here... I have five children. I enjoy being outdoors at the beach, on the water, paddle boarding or canoeing. Nothing beats a warm beautiful sunset and the sound of the salty waves. I love traveling to big cities (NY, Chicago, London) and also places where there are mountains. I’ve mostly traveled up the east coast but would love to venture west. Recently, I purchased a 1963 Shasta travel trailer and am renting her on air bnb for those that seek a unique get away. Glamping retro style! I take “Cherry” out frequently, myself, to Fort Desoto. I’m an avid reader, I dabble in yoga, I have two Boston fur babies, and I enjoy meeting new people. Nice to meet you!
