  • The heart of Alcalali, in the Jalon Valley. The Church and the viewing attraction at the top of the medieval tower. Both in the centre of the village. Surrounded by the local agriculture including the famous pink almond blossoms.

  • A well-known spot for keen cyclists, with so many cycle paths in and around the  Jalon Valley.  This apartment on the edge of Alcalali is the perfect place to stay and relax after a long day exploring the cycle routes in the Val de Pop.
  • Rock climbing seems a popular past time in Alcalali, it's no wonder with this just on the edge of the village. Right next to this fabulous apartment. The perfect place to stay on your climbing holiday.
  • Walking and Hiking is very popular in the Jalon Valley and around Alcalali. With routes suitable for all ages and abilities. Plenty to follow by yourself or groups to join if you prefer.
  • Alcalali has a good selection of small bars and a cafe's. Most of which are based around the villages main square. There is also plenty of choice of restaurants around the edge of the village and in the neighbouring villages or Jalon and Parcent.
  • The village of Alcalali is a joy to explore, walking around the quaint streets with its traditional Spanish townhouses. There is a real village feel with fiestas and live events regularly taking place.
  • The village is proud of its history and agricultural roots. The Alcalali museum or Museu Etnològic d'Alcalalí is the perfect place to start if you wish to explore this history for yourself.
  • If you tire of your private pool, there is always the municipal sports centre in Alcalali, with two pools, children's playground, padel courts and gym.
  • Calpe is less than 45 minutes drive from the hillside apartment in Alcalali. A very popular tourist destination thanks to its beaches, shops, restaurants and nightlife. Also with its magnificent rock, the Peñón de Ifach, a coveted natural park.
  • El Portet, Moraira. A great little beach with some fabulous cafe's along the front.
  • Jalon (Xaló), about a 5-minute drive from Alcalali, the centre of the Jalon Valley. A great combination of traditional charm and bustling modern life.
  •  The Bodega in Jalon is well worth a visit, with guided tours available with plenty of fabulous wine to bring back and free samples to enjoy whilst there.
  • The Rastro in Jalon draws in coaches full of shoppers every Saturday. It is an odd mix of new and old, traditional antiques and herbal teas. A must visit event if you are staying nearby. Hot fresh churros and a row of cafes will keep you going.

  • The Portal de La Marina shopping centre in Ondara is about 30 minutes drive from the apartment. There is a good selection of shops inside and also larger stores and restaurants around the perimeter. Including a Large DIY store and a Burger King.
  • The Portal de La Marina Shopping centre in Ondara. With a large Carrefour supermarket inside. During peak season (July & August) the centre is open on Sundays. Plenty of free parking underground.
