The apartment in the second half of the last century was used as a holiday residence of dr. Salvatore Mangano and his wife Prof. Emma Scaglione.
The dott. Mangano, an ophthalmologist, used this apartment as an inspiration for his pictorial and historical works that focused on the best possible representation of his homeland. This love for its origins led to the publication of ten history books on various historical moments and illustrious personalities of his native land. Residing in this apartment means, therefore, living Corleone starting from an empathic perspective on the greatness of its history and its best children, immersed in an air of other times with all the comforts of modern life.
