" Not all those who wander are lost"- JRR Tolkin Born and bred in New Zealand, this land, its people and its food are my number one passion! I have recently hung up my guiding boots after 8 years to start a family with my wonderful partner Warren and our recently arrived son Quintin. It was never a job but a lifestyle, and one that I was absolutely STOKED to be living every day! I can’t help smiling all the time because I simply love what I do, still do- now I get to share a very special part of NZ with others in our family home and share our collective kowledge of all the best places to visit and things to do around NZ! As spring rolls around again we start getting excited about all the people we are going to meet, the food that’s going to be eaten and the places to be explored! We can’t wait to meet you all and be a part of your trip of a lifetime! “Jaclyn was great. She is very warm, funny and kind. She cooks like a dream and is very passionate about New Zealand. She shared her love for New Zealand music and botany and culture.” Julie Moews (Carlsbad, California, USA) November, 2009 “What a wonderful spirit and warm light that she exudes. She possesses a great desire for adventure and incredible love of life. Her smile never wavered and she was so warm and open with everyone. She was an awesome cook too!! I told her I was going to abscond with her back to Iraq so she could keep me well fed!” Helen Toney (United States military) October, 2010 “Jacs is the most happy person I have ever met. She truly enjoys her job and it shows every day. The hours she worked and the personality she presents are simply terrific.” Gerda Eck (Milwaukie, Oregon, United States) November, 2012
