Welcome to the first train station in Calabogie with a 19th Century ambience and 21st Century amenities. The house is located next to the former K&P Railroad tracks on the North Fork of the Madawaska River which was one of the rivers feeding into the Ottawa during the heyday of the Logging Industry. The river is slower due to hydroelectric dams. In the spring, the gates are opened and the water rushes to allow the pickerel to spawn in the natural pools near the bridge.
