One room available in warm, welcoming house in fun, walkable community of Jamaica Plain. Private room with access to kitchen, laundry, Wi-Fi, and living space. Warm roommates. GLBT friendly, no drugs, smoking, or alcohol.
Rent for one night or up to one week. Meditation group available one day a week. Lots of interest in non-dogamtic spiritual exploration. Great for people with short-term job assignments, students travelling from abroad or other parts of the US, tourists wanting less of a "corporate" vacation, or people in-between housing situations.
Diverse, friendly, safe, and very convenient to downtown Boston on public transportation. Plenty of on-street parking. Library and Fitness Center across the street. Jamaica Plain is an urban oasis with tons of green space (Arnold Arboretum, JP Pond, Southwest Corridor Bike Path), beautiful old homes, hip restaurants and shops. Lots of opportunity for casual chats, intense political discussions, second-hand store bargains, community events, yoga classes , etc. Grocery stores range from organic coops to bodegas to regular supermarkets.
If you need a little orientation we can help you navigate the subway system, getting from one neighborhood to another, where to get the best pizza, etc.!
Tracy and her family were very friendly and helpful! The proximity to the Orange line made getting around my first week in Boston very easy. Jamaican Plain is a fun neighborhood, I look forward to spending more time in JP once the weather warms up!
Tracy was an excellent hostess. The room was just what I needed while visiting my daughter who lives down the street. The weather was cold but the heater she provided was just right, sheets and blankets nice and warm, and tea or coffee was provided in the am. Tracy is busy, but was warm and welcoming. Bathroom was very clean and big towels were provided. Glad I found them!
This was my first airbnb experience and I am very happy to have stayed with Tracy. Her house is beautiful, the room is clean and nice. She provides with towels which is very useful so you do not have to drag them with you. Also, I loved Jamaica Plain: it is not too far from the downtown and Tracy's home is in walkable distance from the Jamaica pond.
Tracy was easy to work around my schedule and was readily available and good with communication. Thank you for letting me stay.
Tracy's home is centrally located in a really fun and creative neighborhood of Boston (Jamaica Plain). The room is on the third floor of a walk up. There are lots of shops, boutiques and restaurants nearby. Tracy is a gracious host who offered snacks upon arrival and was available to make sure that my stay was comfortable. Unfortunately, I had a cold during my visit. I would def come back again!
Tracy was a great host and was very accommodating, even on short notice. She was flexible with check-in/check-out. With the T roughly 12 minutes away, getting to her place was very easy. Excellent communication throughout the entire process. Great neighborhood!
Tracy is a very welcoming person, who made me feel at home just when I arrived. She is so open minded, sensitive and respectful of others. She just let me live my way at home. Too bad we could not talk more, as I was staying a very short time. I could visit a lot though, and the house is located in a very friendly neighborhood, with an excellent organic store nearby, as well as a beautiful park.
Tracy was a great host, very hospitable and accommodated me on short notice. The neighborhood was charming, and the house is across the street from the public library.
Tracy was very kind and thoughtful. Small brown bag of goodies as a welcome was a bonus. Excellent communication throughout the process. Convenient location for the JP area.
Tracy's place was quiet and great! She was also really helpful when I got lost.
