Converted industrial building which is now simple yet complex, fully renovated, super cool, short term rental units, smack in the middle of Hudson’s main commercial district.

In this unit there are two separate bedrooms & a 2nd story loft area which overlooks the common kitchen/living room areas.
Sleeps six or more. Three queen size memory foam beds, plus two queen size air mattresses available on request in advance.

The unit is a high end renovation but with a deconstructed simple design. Radiant heated polished concrete floor throughout. Central A/C.

This unit is great for families and groups. There are two private bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed. There is also a large 2nd story loft space with a queen size mattress. The unit also has two queen size air mattresses available by request in advance. So the unit can sleep 6-10 easily. Full kitchen.

Coming for a wedding or other special event? This is your place.

Please note: If you will have more than 6 people, We can accommodate 2-4 additional people in this unit on air mattresses. But we must know in advance and you must pay the additional charge per person. Otherwise the the unit will not be properly ready for you.

This apartment is a completely self-contained large 2 bedroom, 2 bath, with 2nd story loft area with three queen size beds. You will have the entire 1500 sq ft unit with separate entrance to yourselves. Open plan layout with kitchen and living area. There are two private bathrooms, one en suite with the master bedroom. Washer/dryer in the unit which you may use. The outdoor courtyard is shared with the adjacent Studio unit.

Weitere wichtige Hinweise
This is a very special place to stay in Hudson. We are tucked away down a small alley right behind a commercial area but it’s totally peaceful and quiet back here. These units are behind commercial buildings in a mixed use district. The alleyway leading to the entrance of the units is not quite where we’d like it to be yet. But we expect to be making big improvements to the outdoor common areas this Spring and Summer.

ON ACCESSIBILITY:
This unit is mostly on one level on the ground floor and it is relatively accessible to those with mobility issues. However, there is a gravel surface leading up to the units and there is one small step up to get into the space.

ON PARKING
There is no off-Street parking available on the premises. However, there is a fair amount of free on-street parking available very nearby. If you plan on parking your vehicle and mostly walking (Hudson is just 2 square miles), we can usually find you a safe place to park off-site. There are also a number of metered municipal lots (in effect 9am to 5pm Monday - Saturday, no charge on Sundays and there is free on-street parking in front of the bank/office building just across the street from the unit which is well lit and visible from outside the unit. There is also usually easy parking on Eighth Street just to the East of the units.

Be mindful that Hudson has alternate side parking rules in effect every day on most streets, most times of the year. The city only allows parking on one side of the street from 12:01 am until 8 am. When the following date is an odd number (January 3 for instance), parking is allowed on the side of the street where the houses are odd numbers (like 747Columbia St). On even dates park on the even side of the street.

If you can’t remember the rules it becomes pretty apparent by the side of the street that everyone is parking on by 8 or 9 pm. That’s the good side after midnight.

The good news is that even if you get a ticket, the fine for expired meter is currently $8 and for parking on the wrong side of the street overnight $15. But be sure to pay any tickets quickly. After 30 days, the fines escalate dramatically.

ABOUT TV & VIDEO STREAMING:
This apartment is equipped with a television with an Apple TV streaming device There are apps installed for Sling Video, Netflix, YouTubeTV, Prime Video etc.We have a basic Sling Video account. If you want to watch any of the other services, you are welcome to log-in with your own credentials.

ON HEAT & AIR CONDITIONING
In cool months there are radiant heated floors that keep the units wonderfully cozy. Please don’t adjust the thermostat much. The concrete floors can take up to 24 to fully warm up from a cold start. Conversely if you turn the thermostat up higher than 72 or so, it will turn the place into a sauna that won’t cool down for hours. A setting of 70 degrees, should keep you nice and warm without hot or cold spikes.

The Mitsubishi split unit in the living area and master bedroom only provide air conditioning when it is hot outside. It will do nothing when it’s cold out to heat the unit.
