In this verdant valley we are all family regardless of race, religion, politics, and sexual preference; we welcome all. You will find yourself surrounded by towering evergreens of the Black Hills National Forest, and steps from the Mickelson Trail. You will occupy the entire main or 2nd floor of this rustic residence. Close to all the major Black Hills attractions yet you will feel at one with nature. Tenderfoot Creek can lull you to sleep or greet the morning with its soothing chatter.

Die Unterkunft
You will occupy the entire top or 2nd floor; approximately 1000 (recently remodeled) square feet. There are four rooms on this level: Kitchen-with a breakfast nook for your morning coffee, coffee pot, double oven, fridge, countertop range, microwave, dishwasher, countertop oven, and double sink with disposal. An exterior stairway leads to the entrance through the kitchen. Bath-with heated tile floor to pamper your feet, double sink, stool, and combination shower/tub. Bedroom-with California king bed, dresser, double closet and a sleep inducing electric fireplace on the wall. And finally the great room-with a beautiful native stone, floor to ceiling fireplace on the North end. The dining area on the South will seat six for that gourmet evening meal. Two sliding patio doors off the great room lead to the full length viewing deck with a 4 burner gas grill, patio table, and chairs to enjoy that cold drink. The deck overlooks the creek; this is where you will see the most wildlife and prepare delicious grilled meals. Enjoy the stars of the Milky Way by night in the hot tub. You will have high-speed WIFI for streaming or surfing, a 42" TV, and a blue tooth enabled speaker system for your viewing and listening enjoyment.

Zugang für Gäste
You will have the entire 2nd story of this rustic vacation cabin. The lower level is being remodeled and may be occupied by the owner. There will be no remodeling when guests are present.

Weitere wichtige Hinweise
The approximately 4 acre Tenderfoot Creek Retreat property is land locked on three sides by the Forest Service and the Mickelson Trail. 1000's of acres to hike and explore. There is only one nearby residence and it is not visible from the cabin. If you are visiting between October and April, you may need a four-wheel drive vehicle. Without, you may have to hike approximately 1/2 Mile to the cabin.

Located in a valley less than a mile from U.S. Highway 16, 385. A high, pine wooded ridge separates the property from civilization. The neighbors are mostly four legged and wild. Während deines Aufenthaltes
Prior arrangements can be made for guided tours, hiking, biking, sailing, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, motorcycling, wine tasting, kayaking, spelunking, and climbing. I was born and raised in the Black Hills and have experienced most of what they have to offer, both mainstream and off the grid.
