Welcome to The Taggart House. This stunning estate was constructed in 1850 by noted Stockbridge resident Henry Dwight Sedgwick. For over 150 years, several notables called The Taggart House home, including the psychologist: Erik Erikson. Serving as a Bed & Breakfast for much of the 2000s, The Taggart House was completely restored in 2014 by its current owners. The estate now serves as a vacation rental with The Ballroom used for special occasions only.

Stockbridge is the quintisential New England mountain town. Two of Norman Rockwell's most famous paintings were settings literally just to the left and the right of The Taggart House. Norman Rockwell spent most of his career painting in Stockbridge, and this is the location of his museum.
