The Old Armoury is on Loch Ness within the fortress walls of a beautiful Abbey. It is central to the Highlands, within easy reach of lots of places. There's a swimming pool and other facilities for those rainy days. My apartment is ideal for wheelchairs, couples, solo adventurers & families with kids. (Two beds plus sofa bed, not for 6 adults ). My apartment & Abbey were recently chosen by the Amazon Prime "Grand Tour" car television show as a base for the filming Scottish Highlands show.

The Old Armoury is a ground floor (wheelchair friendly) holiday home nestled on the shores of Loch Ness built in a unique Abbey in a unique location known as the award winning Highland Club, St Benedicts Abbey, Fort Augustus and centrally located within the Highlands of Scotland. The Highland Club facilities include a newly refurbished 10 metre heated indoor swimming pool ('Chapel Pool') located in the Pugin designed Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament, a steam room and sauna. Pugin’s sandstone walls are set off by a Brazilian green slate floor and large ornate windows affording stunning views across the Great Glen.

The apartment is adjacent to the shores of Loch Ness, the Caledonian canal and 5 minutes walk into Fort Augustus village. Fort William and Inverness are approx. 60 miles in each direction with a regular bus from the village to go either way. Ben Nevis is approx. 40 miles from the apartment and is great for skiing.
