The 'industrial-chic' decor embodies the soul of Freo and provides a comfortable place in which to chill out and relax after a busy day's sightseeing.

You'll have the entire two-bedroom apartment to yourselves.

With two bedrooms (one with a queen-size bed and one with twin-beds) it's ideal for couples, friends or families.

The kitchen has everything you need to cater at home - oven, microwave, small fridge, kettle, coffee pot and toaster, even includes a dishwasher, because who wants to wash dishes on holidays? Although with so many great restaurants on your doorstep you may not bother cooking. The kitchen / dining / living area is open plan, with high ceilings and loads of natural light. There is a 32 inch LCD flat screen TV. And to help you truly relax, we provide you with a free bottle of local WA wine!

The apartment has reverse cycle air conditioning (which can also be used for heating) in the living area and the two bedrooms.

It is a strictly non-smoking apartment.

The apartment complex is secure, and gated. There is one car parking space included with this apartment, however, due to the size of the entry-way this carparking space is not suitable for large vehicles.

Please note that if your vehicle is taller than 1.9 metres in height, it will not fit into the car park. It is much easier to park and exit the car park if you have a smaller vehicle, as approach to the car park is very tight, so please take additional care when approaching and leaving the car park in your vehicle.

Children.
While this apartment is suitable for children, due to the open-tread of the staircase it is not recommended for toddlers. The bedrooms and bathroom are all located on the second floor, so if you are not able to walk upstairs this is probably not the place for you. The main living area and entry is on the ground floor.

No parties.
The unit is in a densely populated area and the comfort of our neighbours is paramount. Partries also sometimes lead to property damage. We have a "NO PARTY" policy and any breach of this requirement will lead to instant eviction.

Neighbouring noise
You should also be aware that this is an inner city apartment. Some noise is to be expected due to the close neighbours and the normal sounds of a vibrant city. Much of this noise can be significantly reduced by shutting the windows, but if you are looking for absolute peace and quiet, we respectfully suggest that an outer suburbs or country property may be more your style.

Light
For security purposes, there is a movement controlled light just outside the unit. This light is quite strong and while there are blackout blinds in the unit, light can creep around the edges of the blinds. If that is likely to bother you, an eye mask would be useful.

Car Park,

This warehouse apartment is less than a 7 minute walk from Fremantle Fishermen's Wharf (a must-visit for fish & chips), Bathers Beach, Fremantle Esplanade, Fremantle Markets, Little Creatures Brewery, the Shipwreck Museum and the Kidogo Art Gallery.

The Notre Dame University Medical faculty and the Cappuccino Strip are less than a 3 minute walk away.

There are dozens of cafes, restaurants and bars on the surrounding streets, and the apartment is just two doors down from the Bread in Common restaurant.

This warehouse apartment is so brilliantly located for discovering all those hidden gems that Freo is famous for, and a wonderful place from which to get a real feel for this funky beach-side city.

It's also within easy walking distance to the B-Shed Ferry terminal, where you can catch the fast ferry to the spectacular beaches of Rottnest Island, embark on a dolphin or whale-watching tour (seasonal) or take a day-trip along the sparkling Swan River.

Apart from a few (fantastic) years on the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, we've lived in Perth since 1970. We absolutely love Perth and Fremantle, with their pristine beaches, glorious river and easy outdoor lifestyle - perfect for when we are babysitting our 7 rambunctious grandsons and two beautiful granddaughters- all under 12 years old! George was originally from Malaysia (he is an Old Putera) and Cheryl grew up in the WA Wheatbelt. We love to travel, and have had the joy and the privilege of meeting fantastic people all over the world. But we're always happy to come home too! A retired Chartered Accountant, George loves singing and playing the guitar. While secretly harbouring thoughts of being a rock star, two things have held him back - lack of guts and lack of talent. Cheryl is a retired teacher librarian with a passion for spreading the good word about books and reading. A few years ago she went to Ethiopia at her own cost to help set up a library in a school for poor and disadvantaged children.
