This recently refurbished 2 bed cottage has been modernised to a high standard, with spectacular views over the Cromarty Firth from the back garden. The charming cottage will allow up to 3 guests a home from home relaxing self catering holiday.

Open plan Lounge/kitchen/diner:
The modern kitchen is equipped with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, utensils, pots, pans and kitchenware.
The dining area has a dining table, chairs and bench to seat 4.
The lounge area has a small settee, 2 arm chairs, TV with Freeview and wood burning stove.

The first bedroom has a double bed, beside cabinets, small built in wardrobe, mirror.

The second bedroom has a single bed, beside cabinet, clothes rail, mirror.

The bathroom has a bath with plumbed shower, wash hand basin, w.c, mirror.

Natural garden area down to the shoreline of the Cromarty Firth (50 metres). Patio area, shed with bench and window. Please note that the garden is not enclosed.

Up to 2 dogs are welcome at an additional cost.

It would be best to buy food groceries before you arrive as local shops may have limited opening hours. The Co-op in Fortrose is usually open until 10pm however Inverness Supermarkets are open 24 hours.

All bed linen, towels and tea towels (one hand towel and one bath towel per person).

Electricity & Wi-Fi: internet access is included at no extra cost.

A complementary starter pack of supplies: includes toilet rolls, complementary sachets of coffee, sugar, teabags.

Children should be supervised at all times in the garden as this borders the shoreline of the Cromarty Firth.

The cottage has electric heating plus a wood burning stove. A complementary basket of logs is supplied, additional logs can be purchased locally.

Jemimaville, The Black Isle, Vereinigtes Königreich

Semi detached bungalow in the quiet seside village of Jemimaville, not far from Cromarty. From the kitchen window and back garden guests can relax and take in the many bird spotting opportunities as Langlands is on the edge of the RSPB Udale Bay Nature reserve.

The town of Cromarty, around a 10-minute drive or 20-minute cycle ride, is where you will find a few shops and places to eat and drink as well as the well know Hugh Millers Cottage and Cromarty Courthouse Museum.

The towns of Rosemarkie, Fortrose and Dingwall are also within easy reach by car or bus. Inverness is around 35 minutes’ drive.

The Black Isle has a number of attractions, from its beautiful seashore and woodland walks to its wildlife watching opportunities. It is home to a wide variety of wildlife such as foxes, pine martins, red and roe deer, Red Kites, woodpeckers and ospreys, and the famous Moray Firth bottlenose dolphins are regularly sighted at Chanonry Point in Fortrose.

Inverness offers many attractions such as Culloden Battlefield, Cawdor Castle, Urquhart Castle, Loch Ness (the home of Nessie) and many more. It is also a great location to travel to the West & North Coast. Inverness offers a variety of Day Trips, Coach Tours & Boat Cruises, including the award winning Jacobite Cruise of Loch Ness. There is many local attractions that are easily visited on foot such as the museum and art gallery, Inverness Botanic Gardens, Eden Court Theatre, Inverness leisure centre, with the largest indoor rock climbing facility in the Highlands, pools, gym & health suite, to name but a few.

As well as exploring the Black Isle and Inverness, you can also tour the north and west Highlands.
