Aloha and Welcome to Alii Makai. This luxury stunning ocean view spacious house is at the center of Kailua-Kona. It is on a private road with only one neighbor. You can have all your privacy and enjoy your family vacation here.

This beautiful 7 bedroom, 6 bath home with AC in all the bedrooms and an outdoor shower. Unobstructed ocean view of the Kona Coastline. Spectacular stargazing from your own private deck.

At the hale...LIVE OUTSIDE! At night the outdoor lanai area around the pool is a wonderful spot to kick back and relax, have a drink and/or dinner, and/or watch the kids play in the pool.

The home is conveniently located close to many amenities which include a plethora of dining options (including the famous Sam Choy), a movie theater and shopping center, all within a five-minute drive. Numerous resort amenities are available just to the South. The Keauhou Bay area offers great ocean access, scuba diving, and sailing, catamaran, fishing charters, sea kayaking, and outrigger canoeing.

Just a few miles down the shoreline you will find Kahalu’u Beach State Park, famous for its encounters with the graceful green Hawaiian Sea Turtles.

Magic Sands Beach and Kahalu'u Beach Park are BOTH within 1 mile...These two beaches are our absolute favorites on Ali'i Drive and the most popular. This is the best location to the beaches and to enjoy access to the best shopping and restaurants on Kona to Downtown Kailua. Keauahou with the famed manta ray night dives is also about 5 minutes. Right in the middle of everything.

If you are seeking local markets and historical context, downtown Kailua-Kona is approximately a 10-minute drive for easy access to shopping, businesses, waterfront restaurants and hotels. Watch the people and the cruise ships come and go from the Kailua Pier. Visit the famous Farmer's Market. Enjoy a shave ice or a cup of Kona coffee, have a light snack or a gourmet meal, buy an inexpensive souvenir or a piece of fine art, book an activity, go for a swim or hang out on the many beautiful beaches.

Up the coast is a busy marina with Hawaii's best scuba diving, big-game fishing, kayaking, dolphin and whale watching, and other ocean activities. Ali'i Makai is conveniently located, a great home base to explore the many wonders of the Big Island including Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea Observatory, coffee and macadamia nut farms, artist communities, and more!

If you have 6 people or less, you will only rent the three bedrooms at the main house.
If you have 8 or less, you will rent the main house plus the master suite Ohana 1 by the pool
if you have 10 people or less, you will rent the 5 bedrooms (main house, the master suite Ohana 1 by the pool and master suite Ohana 2 at the back of the house)
If you have more than 10 people, you will rent the whole house with 7 bedrooms and 6 bathroom

Check-In: TENANT agrees that rent commences no earlier than 4 pm on the day and date indicated on part one. Early check-in may be permitted if the house is ready, and must be pre-arranged with LANDLORD. The additional fees for early check-in are $58 for 2 pm check-in, $118 for 12 pm check-in, $224 for 10 am check-in.

Check-Out: TENANT agrees to vacate the premises no later than 11 am on check out day. TENANT's security deposit shall be forfeited if you do not vacate the premises by 11 am unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Late check-out may be permitted if there is no new tenant arriving the same day. Late check-out must be pre-arranged with LANDLORD. The additional fees for late check-out are $58 for 12pm check-out, $118 for 2pm check-out, $169 for 4:00 pm check-out, $224 for 6pm check-out, and $300 for 8:00 pm check-out.

5 minutes drive to downtown Kona. It is less than 20 minutes drive from the airport to our house.

Aloha and Welcome to KonaHome Vacation Rentals. This is Emmy. I am the owner and manager of these lovely vacation rentals in Kailua-Kona. I lived in Silicon Valley California for over 25 years and worked as a software engineer and the founder of a few successful start-up companies. I built several successful start-up companies and pursued our entrepreneur dreams there. I loved living in the California Bay Area and still consider it our "Home on the Mainland". Emmy's lifelong dream has always been to live by the ocean in tropical islands. When I first truly memorable experience in Hawaii was the family vacation on the cruise ship that visited each of the Hawaiian islands. We fall in love with Kona, Big Island the best. There is so much to do here, with crystal clear water for snorkeling, rainforests, waterfalls, and volcanoes to explore, and mountains that almost reach the stars. I bought my first dream house in 2013, and 3 years later, just after our daughter graduated from high school in California in 2016. Then we moved to Kona. Besides high tech, one of Emmy’s lifelong interests has been real estate. Every destination Emmy visited, she loved exploring the properties in the area. Combining our love for Hawaii and homes, now we own and manage 8 beautiful vacation rental houses. We have put much effort into every house to make them as comfortable and welcoming as your home. We use the latest technologies on the rental houses, with smart locks, amazon Alexa, comprehension customized online welcome book for each guest and much more.
