Lovely, modern self-contained, self catering accommodation. Set on our 10 acre lifestyle block with mountain views, cattle & chickens! It is lovely and warm and sunny (built above building code) - perfect for a holiday or weekend away in the country.

The cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps up to six guests. More room than a motel - inside & out! When you book you don't share it with the host - you get the cottage to yourself. Children's play area can be used.

Die Unterkunft
Unlike many others we take the time to freshly iron the bedsheets for you. You'll find feather pillows to sink into to enjoy a peaceful nights sleep. The cottage is cleaned to a high standard and when you book we don't charge additional cleaning fees! A new air conditioning unit/ heat pump has just been installed.

The cottage is fully furnished to a high standard, has a spacious open plan living area and two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, wardrobe, drawers, a bedside cabinet & alarm clock.

The second bedroom has a double bunk bed (double bottom, single top), a single bed & bedside cabinet. Please note, the top bunk doesn't have a barrier along the length of the bunk (see photos).

Check out our website for more information.
Baby items are available on request - eg cot, baby bath, toys. Prior notice is required if such items are required as they are not set up in the cottage.

The cottage is self catering. It is very well insulated (well above the building code) so is lovely and warm - perfect for the ski season! There is plenty of firewood and on the cold days we can light the fire for you prior to your arrival.

****There are two separate bedrooms in the cottage. If you require both rooms for two guests please book for three people***** The base price is based on one or two guests using the queen bed. There doesn't seem to be any other way to charge for two singles on AirBnB.

The modern kitchen is complete with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, tub, clothes dryer, gas hot water, log burner, toaster, sandwich toaster, kettle - all you need for a relaxing break!
There is a flat screen tv, dvd player and cd player/radio.
The bathroom has a shower, toilet and vanity. Bed linen and towels are provided.
The check out time may be extended if there are no bookings that day.

If you are attending a local equestrian event we are able to have a small number of horses on the property. We have steers that they could share the area with.

The cottage is 30 metres from the main dwelling. Relax and unwind, feed the chickens, watch the cattle, explore the forest, enjoy our little piece of paradise that is New Zealand!

Zugang für Gäste
When arriving & departing the property please close the gate at the end of the driveway as we have cattle. The gate opens on the right hand side (next to the house number).
When booking for one or two people using the main bedroom the second bedroom may be locked. Guests are welcome to walk around the 10 acre section. It is roughly half paddock & half forest.
There is a children's play area that children are welcome to use. There is a fort, two swings, slide, tyre swing & a trampoline.

Weitere wichtige Hinweise
When booking for two singles (requiring separate bedrooms) please increase the number of guests to three to allow for the price difference.

We have four steers/cattle & free range chickens on the section.
There is Wi-Fi but please no movie downloads as we aren't on an unlimited data plan. Normal usage (emails etc) is fine.
There isn't a safety barrier along the length of top bunk (see photos).
