Picturesque cottage - Portage Lake w/ sauna & dockA newly refurbished cottage on Portage Lake with no cleaning fee..!! Located ~ 6 miles from Houghton and Michigan Tech. University. Watch a sunrise while having coffee in bed, use a biking & walking trail behind the cottage, catch fish from the dock, take a "refreshing" lake swim, have 'happy hour' on the lakeside deck, or evening coffee in the screened-in porch after a warm sauna. The kitchen is well-equipped, all linens supplied. Bottom line: a great place to just relax or for a family outing.

Waterfront in HoughtonThis 4 bedroom 2 bath home is located next to chutes and ladders located on portage canal next to Houghton beach, Chutes & Ladders, and Houghton public docks. Home is a short walk to Michigan Tech and historic downtown. There are two kayaks and 2 bikes available for you to use and explore the canal or downtown. We love dogs and do welcome them but do charge an extra $10 nightly fee per dog. Please send me any questions.
