What you'll do
I will meet you at the train station, from there we will go to the my studio, which is a short distance. You will be given a talk on health and safety, relating to working with ceramics, and then you will be given a demonstration and an introduction to different tools and techniques . Then you will be able to be creative by making your own sculpture. I will be close at hand to guide you through the process. We will break for a light lunch. After lunch we will continue with your sculpture, or if finished, you will be able to make another one.
I have been a practising artist and tutor for eight years. I have worked in the local community and with people with special needs. This has given me experience of working in youth clubs , the travelling community, local schools, refugee centres and the LGBT community, teaching ceramics and sculpture. I have also had art work displayed in different exhibitions over the last eight years. I have a BA (Hons) in Fine Art. I am passionate about my work, but most of all, I love teaching. I can't think of anything more rewarding than when a student enjoys the experience from art and takes an enjoyable memory away with them.
Hot and cold Drinks available.
Material to commplete a small project.
Where you'll be
