In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel in Chiang Mai's city area. Then, we'll go to Doi Inthanon, where we'll start hiking together!

That's right, we'll hike to the highest spot in all of Thailand! We'll also walk through the preserved green forest for around 1.5-2 hours (round trip), so try to keep up your energy!

**This trip included Travel Insurance, Recommendation & things to do in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai**

Then, we will head to the Royal Twin Pagodas built to honor the 60th birthdays of King Rama IX and his Queen. This is where you can visit the lovely garden to see beautiful scenery and snap away some stunning Instagram photo!

After that we'll go to the Hmong Hill Tribe Market to have a local lunch. To end the experience on a relaxing note, we will go to a waterfall to chillax before coming back to the city safe and sound :)

Note that one of my professional co-host guides (Minty, May, and Nat) will take care of you closely during the trip.

**During the raining season June - September we might not be able to hike if it rains since the hiking spot will be flooded and closed. For your security, we might skip the hike and visit other nice places nearby.

We will go to Doi Inthanon National Park, the highest spot of Thailand. Just 2 hours drive from the city, you will be amazed how the nature is well preserved and how many things to explore in the mountain (forest, waterfall, hill tribe village etc.)

We had a private tour ended up just being the two of us . The guide (really sorry can’t remember her name ) came and picked us up in a big vehicle that was super comfy! It was a long drive about 1.5-2 hours but the guide stopped off at a rest stop for a short time to use facilities ! When we got their the guide took us to the highest point and told us all the facts and information about the surrounding area . We then made our way down to our trek . The trek was amazing ! Super hot ! a water bottle is a must ! The views were insane literally breath taking ! And the walk through the jungle was simply amazing so Calm and peaceful just walking through with lots of birds and trees and water trickling . Was like walking through a relaxation video . Our guide isn’t allowed to Guide us on the trek the national park have people to help you through . Our person didn’t speak any English . However was patient with us for stopping and taking photos . The trek it’s self is quite exhausting but so worth the energy ! Lots of wooden steps and trekking up and down . Definitely take up on the wooden bamboo stick option before leaving for the trek . When we got back from the trek . Approx 2 hours. Our lovely guide gave us the option of where we wanted to eat lunch which was really sweet of her . We had lunch and were then taken to see the Karen people and how they make coffee ! The guide then took us to a local small market we’re we bought some of the nicest fruit either of us had ever tasted ! After we went to the waterfall which was stunning ! The whole trip was really lovely . And our guide was amazing ! Highly recommended !

Our trip was absolutely wonderful! We booked last minute and Emma was very accommodating for our late booking and even let us be picked up from our hotel that was outside of the main pick up area, which was extremely convenient and helpful. Our driver and tour guide for the day Nathlita, who went by Mindy. She was so nice and sweet and very knowledgeable of everything in the area. She let us know what the plan was for the day and even offered to switch things around if we wanted to do them in a different order. Mindy took us to the King and Queen temples first, as she said we could potentially skip most of the crowds if we got there a bit earlier. It was practically empty and there were very few tour groups up there at the time. Mindy told us all about the history of the temples and the mountain and why it was important to the Thai people. When we were finished, we then took a beautiful hike through a nature trail that took us through the mountains and to some really great vistas. We then went to the highest point in Thailand to see the kings tomb, and from there went to visit a local village that grew and sold arabica coffee beans. There was nobody there, and it didn’t feel like a big tourist attraction at all. It was very nice to sit and learn about the coffee process and to have some freshly brewed coffee while we learned. We finished the tour with a visit to a beautiful waterfall, with more backstory and history from our guide. Mindy was amazing throughout the entire trip, offering to take pictures for us, sharing her experiences through the years of doing these tours, and really making this trip feel like a day with an old friend, as opposed to a day with a tour guide. Mindy asked what our plans were for the rest of the day as we were driving back, and we mentioned we were going to change and go to the night market. She offered to drop us off at our hotel to change, and then she would continue on and take us to the market as well! Our tour was technically over and it was so nice of her to take time out of her day to continue making our trip special. She offered to show us around some of the markets and talked to us about her favorite Thai dishes which many tourists might pass by without trying. She even took us to her favorite spot to watch the sunset. It was such a wonderful trip and we were so happy our decision. Mindy was absolutely our friend by the end of the day, and it made it even more special. We definitely connected and it was so nice and amazing of her to take time out of her day to spend with us and to show us to her favorite stands and stalls and give us even more insight into the Thai culture. This was absolutely a once in a lifetime kind of trip. And even if our day ended before the night markets, it still would have been one of the best day trips we’ve ever had on vacation.

Sunshine, Thank you for the great effort making this tour much interesting and fun. We visited many interesting places and also hiking to the villages and passing by strawberry farm are impressive. There are some places we wanted to make it short(no need to spend time at garden) so we could hike more slower... we wished to spant more time for the hike. It would be better to ask to participates before the tour start what we are more interested in. So the guide can manage our time too. Anyway Sunshine is professinal guide and story of Budda and all the talks we had during the trip are so wonderful!! All of our group members liked her! Thank you.

This experience was amazing. Sunshine was the best host I could of asked for. She really went out her way to make the tour enjoyable, an experience and special. My host was amazingly good at photography, she has a special skill of finding the best photo opportunities and locations, making the tour feel interactive and different. Would recommend for groups or single travellers (I did the experience solo) as it truly is breathtaking. Beautiful location, there's a market you go to and a very cool waterfall. Great value for money. 10/10

I had a great experience with our guide Nut today (and the nice couple that was also on this tour). From my last minute registration (handled by Taro who was very responsive to all my questions and last minute change), to D day with the group, everything went smoothly. Nut shared a lot of his knowledge and the Thai culture in general, which is very precious for me, as always this kind of activity depends on your own level of investments and curiosity, so do not hesitate to ask all your questions, Nut is more than happy to help and is very friendly and attentionate. We were offered to adapt the hike parts if we wanted to (found this too difficult), but we were able to do the whole path. Only minor point would be that the visited sites can be very busy, even in the morning, but this is not dependent on the tour organizers or guide. If you'd like a more "wild-nature" experience, I guess arriving at the earliest hour would be best for you. In any case I was very happy with the activity and this opportunity to meet with these great people! I recommend.
