The walking tour would start with the ducks (they are up front) and continue through our chickens. I will explain the various breeds and why we have them (production and show) and allow the guest to gather eggs from the nests. We will continue to the barn area where we will first visit with our dry stock (non-milking). Starting here is where the guests will be allowed to pet the animals and interact and feed animal cookies we supply. I will explain the different breeds of goats, their origins, and show the difference between our dry goats and our milking line. From time to time there are babies of all species from goats, to ducks, to chicks, to bunnies. We cannot plan what we will have at any one time but there is always something with feathers in a brooder. We are also a cat foster so most of the time there are kittens to see. If we have baby goats at the time, the guests will bottle feed the babies if they wish. You will have opportunity to pet, snuggle and love on the goats. They will view the milking parlor and we will explain how we produce the milk from beginning to end. The tour will conclude with a sampling of cheese made here on the farm Approx 2 hour tour depending on interest with the last 20 minutes spent sampling our various goat cheeses and products.

My husband and I had a wonderful time. Host is very knowledgeable of her animals and was very hospitable. My favorite part was feeding the baby goats, I could have stayed there all day with them. The sample taste experience at the end of her products I found delicious and educational. I would recommend doing this on your stay. I especially loved the love Pam has for animals being a rescue farm and with disaster relief. Thank you Pam for a wonderful experience especially the baby goats.

What an experience! We had so much fun taking the tour with Pam. Her enthusiasm towards her passion of taking care of all of these animals is very inspiring. She has great stories, and was seemed to have a personal relationship with every animal on the farm. It's amazing how close to the animals we could get. What a special experience to be able to feed baby goats! Thanks to Pam and The Dancing Goat for giving us such great memories on our trip to Florida and an experience to escape the hustle and bustle of the city!

If you have the time, make absolute sure that you set aside time for this tour. I grew up with animals & work in veterinary so I was truly wondering what this would be like, but the passion that Pam & her staff have for their farm is incredible and I learned a lot of new information. Pam is incredibly knowledgeable and has such a kind soul. All her animals are friendly and well cared for. Before this, I was terrified of emus; however, after meeting Pam's, I've learned how funny & inquisitive they are! I was able to feed baby goats [due to the timing of the year we visited] and it was truly one of my favorite life experiences [I am a goat fanatic]. Be aware that this is a real, working farm - you will get dirty, animals will slober on you, and they are working around you because that kind of work never stops. If you are looking for a run of the mill petting zoo experience, this is not it. This is truly a one of a kind farm who excels in animal care & education to the public. I am so glad we made time to go there. At the end you are offered multiple goat milk products - they were delicious! I got to try stuff I never would have and loved it. My boyfriend is not so much the "get dirty & love on farm animals" type, but even he admitted he had a lot of fun & really enjoyed Pam's stories. All in all, a wonderful time was had by my boyfriend and I. Thank you Pam & staff!
