In this nature-based mindfulness session, you’ll explore how to bring mindful awareness to your surroundings. We will use technology as an ally for us to connect in community & experience the world through the senses.
Science supports what we what many feel when spending time outside or orienting to nature. Just two hours a week in green spaces improves health & psychological well-being.

While staying healthy-at-home, interactive nature practices offered through Zoom can help create a deeper understanding of your mind and the land around you. Nature can nurture your heart.
It is suggested to have access to reliable Internet while outside on a balcony, in a garden, on grass, with a tree or inside near a window or plant. Participants can be seated, lying down or standing for contemplative nature practice.

I share how to bring mindfulness into your daily life by connecting & communicating with the elements of our natural world. Over the past 4 years, I’ve hosted hundreds of guests from 26 countries at my popular Airbnb Experience, Meditate @ the Beach in LA.
I lead nature meditation practices learned from my time in nature & on retreat as well as learnings from the Mindfulness Training Institute & Awake in the Wild teacher training. My sessions are designed to help cultivate calm & reconnection with yourself & our planet. I am passionate about inspiring others to live a life of presence & to fall in love with our Earth!

As part of my work team's virtual annual meeting, we included an hour meditation with Melanie and were all very pleased. We were able to learn useful tips in developing a meditation practice and the hour spent outside in meditation was incredibly restorative. This was an excellent team building activity. I highly recommend Melanie's guided meditation.

Since the onset of COVID, working from home, socializing from a computer at home, and remaining close to home on the weekends has made it difficult for me to unplug for even a few minutes a day and connect with myself. As the weeks and months go on, I have found myself having more difficulty creating any balance in my day to day. Melanie's mediation on the farm allowed me to see how important it is to take a few minutes a day and re-connect with nature. She helped me break down the barriers to achieving a few minutes of clarity and connection to nature even when living in a city. Melanie was able to quickly personalize the experience to allow me to get the most out of it. I feel that I can continue to use the techniques she taught daily to help get me out of the monotony of being "stuck" at home for all of my activities. Highly recommend!
