Enjoy real Tuscan country life with a farmer and his wife

Lorenzo and I will welcome you to our farmhouse, then you and I will go and visit a flour mill and a pastificio, where pasta is made, in a fantastic farm where ancient varieties of wheat are grown. Back to our house you'll have a tour of our property with Lorenzo who will tell you everything about real extra-virgin olive oil and wine making. Be prepared to ask him a lot of questions: he loves that! Then we'll cook a real Italian meal (first course, second course, vegetables and dessert) accompanied by our olive oil and wine and we'll have lunch together. I'll tell you everything about Tuscan cooking traditions and the history of this beautiful spot of countryside. After lunch we'll visit the oldest church of Pisa's province, which is one thousand years old. Instead of it, we can visit a dairy farm if you prefer.
There ends our experience, but if you like and have time, you can visit Volterra by yourself. I'll give you all the information you may need.
Moreover you'll get 10% off the price of the experience (I'll give you the money back cash) if you stay at our B&B: https://www.airbnb.it/users/27686067/listings. You have to book the accommodation and pay for it separtely.

My husband Lorenzo and I used to live near Milan in the north of Italy. Tired of city life we decided to move to this wonderful spot of Tuscany in 2002. I used to teach English and French, but I studied art and history, too. Lorenzo, who studied farming and botany, wanted to have a piece of land of his own, where to grow his beloved trees and flowers. He is so fond of nature that he would never stop telling you about it.
The countryside, the views, the tiny hilltop villages, excellent food and wine...everything is fantastic and it will be a pleasure to share all we have discovered with you.

Wo ihr sein werdet

We'll visit one of the first farms in Tuscany to grow organic wheat with which they make flour, pasta and fantastic bread. On the way you will have the chance to see the most typical Tuscan countryside with gorgeous views.
Our property is not so big, but it has everything: olive trees, vines, fruit trees, aromatic herbs, flowers. We are in the very heart of Tuscany. The church of our village is a hidden treasure: it's worth a visit.

What a spectacular way to be introduced to rural life in the Tuscan countryside. We toured a local grain mill, dairy, and were given an in-depth tour of the owner's vineyard and olive grove. Lizzy's cooking was also excellent!

Wonderful experience! Annalisa took us to local farms and a family mill. We felt we had a much better understanding and appreciation for the region after our experience. Back at the farmhouse they explained the process of the dishes they were making. Everything was delicious! This is truly a special way to experience life as a local. Highly recommend to stay a night or two in the farmhouse and enjoy a night out at the spectacular restaurant nearby (L’antici Molino), one of the best meals we had in Italy.

Annalisa and Lorenzo are both lovely people. They like to show their property and the surroundings and tell about it. They do their best to connect with the preferences of their guests.

Annalisse (Lizzy) and Lorenzo are an absolute treasure!!! We visited them to tour their vineyard/orchard, a local organic flour mill/pasta factory, and the local Romanesque church, as well as home-made lunch that they prepared for us. All those experiences were superb because of their hospitality, friendliness, and genuine passion for Tuscany. If you are looking for an Airbnb lodging and/or tours in this part of Tuscany, I would highly recommend Annalissa and Lorenzo!!!
