We will meet in the center of Porto and drive to Maia where we live. An amazing city, a mix of countryside and city, here you can feel a bit of peace. Once we arrive at home we will do a toast with Port wine and be ready to start our baking . After some talk its time to 'get your hands on work'. I will first explain you all the steps before we start cooking. We divide this workshop in 2 different stages, first you will see how to do the puff pastry, the base for our Pastel de nata and on the second stage the filling!! All of you will participate in the baking .We clarify that we don't have individual work areas, but that we all work together as a team.
With our babies in the oven for 15 minuts we will prepare our drinks, coffe, tea or a genuine white Port wine to enjoy with our Pastel de Nata . All participants make at least 2 pastries by hand - spreading the dough with a specific Pastry technique, filled with the cream and oven :) I am sure that the result will be delicious. After the pastel de nata is done we will finally
tasted and realize this is the best nata you ever eat. After this amazing moment its time to come back to porto and enjoy an amazing afternoon by yourself. We say goodbye each other but we are now friends for life
