Meeting the Central Market Hall and start with a yummy welcome treat, called "Pogacsa". Take in the market’s lively atmosphere, splendid architecture, and rich aromas.
Head to Pest’s lively Jewish Quarter and make your way to the most unpretentious, and homey Hungarian restaurant in town. Savour this simple ingredient goulash soup with its incredibly tasty flavor. Your host will tell you all about the history behind the nation’s favorite dish.
It's high time to taste a bite of a typical Hungarian sausage at our next stop. Enjoy it like the locals do and add some pickled vegetables on the side.
Continue to the city’s first street food court, and walk through a hip and colorful community garden. Enjoy the cool vibe while checking out different food stalls. I will show you how Hungarians like to drink wine. Just pick your favorite glass of ‘fröccs’ and enjoy it with a piece of Budapest’s favorite street food: fried bread with cottage cheese!
Pick up a freshly made chimney cake and make your way to the coolest ruin bar on Earth, called Szimpla. Grab a nice cup of coffee or beer and take in the quirky atmosphere of this place!
Here we say goodbye.
1 PERSON BOOKING: In case of one person joining the tour, I will include either the Cheese Langos or the Chimney Cake but NOT BOTH as it would be too much food for 1 person.
