Was ihr unternehmen werdet

This tour will provide the guests with the unique opportunity to experience St Augustine from land and sea. The Matanzas Bay played an important role in the development of this Spanish colony as did many of the sites we will visit on foot.

We will meet at the Plaza de la Constitucion to begin our journey through history on our way to board the Victory III. Capture unique pictures of Castillo de San Marcos, The St Augustine Lighthouse, The Bridge of Lions and other important sites. Relax as you enjoy nature and catch a glance of dolphins, manatees and various bird species.

Once on land, we will continue with our walking tour of downtown St Augustine. you will walk through the art district alleys on your way to Aviles, the oldest street in the US. We will visit the Historic Civil Rights era Woolworth counter as we make our way to Flagler College, formerly the Ponce de Leon Hotel, and Hotel Alcazar, nowadays the Lightner museum. You will be amazed of the world's largest indoor swimming pool of its time and the opulence of the Flagler era.

Dear guests we have made some changes to our tour to ensure the safety and well being of all the participants during these challenging times. Face masks are required for all guests and guides; a public address system will be used to maintain distance, reduced group size. Private tours available just for your group as well as in Spanish

I am passionate about St Augustine and love to share facts about its history with family and guests. I am somewhat outgoing and lively some say I talk too much! Whatever the case I will make sure you enjoy our time together.

I am a native Spanish speaker and I am fluent in English and understand some French. I have lived in the Caribbean and more recently in St Augustine for three and a half years.

My formal educating is in tourism and most of my professional life I have worked in customer service for several domestic and international airlines.

This is an amazing town lets explore it together...

Agnes was a historically knowledgeable guide. She asked us questions to tailor the time to our interests, and to make suggestions for the rest of our trip. That bit of advance proved to be useful.

It was the Cherry on top of our experience here in St. Augustine. Luis was so knowledgeable about the deep history of St Augustine.

I expected more black history because I know for a fact that it was more than just the St.Augustine 4 sit in and the civil rights movement with MLK. I also know FOR A FACT that slaves were bought and sold where the “slave market” is mentioned and referred to as just “the plaza” where ppl sale fruits “and stuff” yea ok?! Also LINCOLNVILL NEEDS TO BE INCORPORATED IN ALL OF THE TOURS AS IT IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AND PLAYED A MAJOR ROLE IN THE HISTORY OF ST.AUGUSTINE AS ALL OF THE OTHERS! Truth really be told if it wasn’t for the African Americans St. Augustine wouldn’t even exist with all the beautiful structures we see today. America was built on the back of my ancestors (African American Slaves) and since St.Augustine is the 1st and oldest city built and established in America guess what ??? That means African American slaves 1st auction block must have taken place there along with so much more history that is not being told! WHEN YOU KNOW BETTER YOU DO BETTER! I was very disappointed!!!!

Luis was a wonderful tour guide! As hot as it was he was very thoughtful about making sure we were in the shade. Between that and his great historical accounts it was a wonderful tour. Would definitely recommend!!

My wife and I took the Boat Ride and the Walking Tour. It was a great experience while getting our steps in St. Augustine. Anes is a wonderful tour guide. Her husband Luis covered the introductions and overall plan for the tour. We were lucky to have them both for our tour. Anes gave us numerous amount of information and history. She was a lot of fun and explicit about the details. The best 5,000 steps so far in St. Augustine. Afterwards, we enjoyed other places Anes recommended during the tour. We suggest for you to take the tour early during your vacation so you can better plan your stay. Have a great time.

Great tour and we appreciated the guide taking us to all the shady spots to explain the history of what we were seeing. End of July was over 95 degrees and humid!!!!
