Was ihr unternehmen werdet

Upon the time you wish to start your adventurous experience (preferably early morning or afternoon are great time to view animals). I will meet you at Nairobi National Park Main Gate - which lies only 7km from the capital city center, where you will be dropped off at the Parking Area.

You will then proceed to the main gate aided with your original identification documents (IDs/Passports) and pay for your entry ticket in order to access the national park to start of your safari.

* Nairobi National Park Entry Rates is USD 43$ per person* for Non-Residents.

After payment, you will hop in a 4x4 safari vehicle and enter the park, starting your game drive. With my company, you will explore a the whole national park from the main points of interest, sites, water holes & enjoy game viewing. During the game drive, we shall make stopovers at the picnic sites for you to stretch your legs, relax, take pictures, videos, have snacks and when once refreshed resume with the drive. With my knowledge & experience you will also get the opportunity to learn all about the species and their behaviors as we encounter them on the drive.

The total time is approximately 5.5 hours (Depending on how long you would like to stay in the park). After which, we shall exit the park & you will get picked from the parking area by the same means you were dropped .

Ali was a great guide for the safari. He greeted us personally and gave us a private tour of the National Park. He knew the park's stories and where de animals were located. Unfortunately we missed seeing the lions. Ali was very kind enough to even drop us off after the safari. I will highly recommend Ali to anyone visiting the Nairobi National Park.

Ali and his friend were kind and friendly while this experience. The Nairobi National Park is quiet small and during this experience I felt like we were driving around the same areas looking for the animals. Wild animals are hard to see and in about 3 hours were nothing else to see. I did this experience early in the morning, but according to Ali animals are more visible in the evening. Basically I just saw a park full of trees and deers. Nothing to do with the host. It seemed to me they tried hard to give me a nice experience. The animals just weren't visible. So my expectations of seeing plenty of wild animals around just didn't happen. If you are lucky you will get the chance to see one thing just one time. However I did enjoy the driving around the park and Ali as a host. The experience only lasted 3 hours, so a little expensive for the time frame that last the experience.

Ali was a phenomenal guide and exceeded our expectations. It was easy to see how much he loves the park and the animals; his enthusiasm was contagious. His knowledge was abundant, and it was clear that he’s spent years and years studying the animals, as he could read them instinctually and knew when to move closer or pull aside. He never got tired of us asking questions and told us stories he’s had from working there over the years. With this insight, he took us to the best lookout spots. Also, his Land Rover easily glided over every patch in the road (which is very important because we saw a handful of smaller cars get stuck, and watched as Ali was able to help and rescue them). Overall, we had such a memorable experience with Ali and could not have asked for anything better!

Couldn’t recommend a safari with Ali more! Ali’s grown up around the park and works with the lion unit - he just put a collar on a lion yesterday!!- so not only does he have a very intimate, detailed knowledge of the park geographically, but he also understands and knows the animals as well as a lot of the people working there! Wherever we went rangers greeted Ali like a friend and that felt special; one even let me borrow his binoculars to try spot some rhino. On a practical note, Ali’s Land Rover gives an authentic safari feel that I relished as we cruised over huge bumps and splashed through water (that regular cars just can’t do). He’s a safe and experienced driver that put in the effort to position a car for me to get the best view possible for all sightings and viewpoints. Moreover he’s skilled at spotting animals while driver (it must be a gift!). While driving around Ali shared really interesting facts about all the different animals (even random ones I asked about that weren’t even in this park), the wildlife parks and government and more. He was patient, a good listener and great at reading the time - eg am I just looking out the window and want to be peaceful or do I want to chat and must he indulge my curiosity? Lastly and most importantly, an afternoon with Ali didn’t disappoint: we saw lions up close right out the window, a black rhino with baby, a large tortoise with her baby tortoise, a silver-backed jackal, a crocodile, multiple buffalos, hippo, impalas, hartebeest; warthogs, a giraffe and so many birds and butterflies. I’m probably forgetting some animal! Not at one point did I feel rushed or that Ali didn’t genuinely try to let me experience animals with him. We actually tracked around carefully for lion for quite some time before lucking out! (But Ali thoughtfully kept track of time and ensured I wouldn’t miss my flight). Ali is a wonderfully gifted, kind and generous individual who impressed upon me his deep love for the African wild (and especially lions!). I feel blessed to have experienced this trip with him and not anybody else. Go for it!!!!

Was a great experience. Ali was very friendly, and really knew his stuff when it came to knowing the habits of the animals and the geography of Nairobi National Park. I was particularly happy that we got to see both white rhinos, and a black mother rhino with a calf. Would definitely recommend.

My private urban safari with Ali at the Nairobi National Park was such a great experience. He is a very thoughtful person who makes sure that you feel very comfortable and enjoying the tour. He even had his friends involved in the tour and picnic which was a very special experience with his community of wonderful friends; because the best experiences are all about the people you have them with and I felt like part of them with good connection. I even ended up joining them for dinner when the tour was over. Ali is such a great tour guide with great knowledge of the Nairobi National Park as he has been involved there for over 18 years. His driving skills with his 4 wheeler is great. He knows how to track and spot the animals such that we had a rare sighting of a pride of lions resting together during the sunset. It was a special moment having such a wonderful sight of the lions. I highly recommend doing a tour with Ali and would definitely do it again with him and his wonderful friends the next time I visit Nairobi.
