The art studio is nestled within a shophouse area which is surrounded by restaurants and hawker-style eateries. You can choose to arrive earlier to try out some local delicacies. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a hand-painted mural wall on the stair wall by myself. WHY DO I CALL THIS TIPSY PAINTING? Well I do have the dream of getting a little tipsy to paint so that I can breakthrough all forms of barriers of self-doubt. :) To kick-start the class, there will be an ice-breaking session to get to know everyone in the room. Guests are given bottomless coffee/tea and light snacks during the class. We will then proceed with the introduction of the class with a brief presentation slide, paint medium to use and so on. There will be guidance on what you wish to paint or even paint references for inspiration. YOU DON'T NEED TO BE AN EXPERT FOR THIS EXPERIENCE. WE WELCOME COMPLETE BEGINNERS. :) Be prepared to get your hands dirty, and try to refrain from wearing light-colored apparels as the paint will stain the fabric permanently. Aprons will be provided, however, paint stains will still appear in really unexpected areas. Make sure you are wearing something you don't mind dirtying. Once the session is over we will have a mini photoshoot with your finished masterpiece. There will be options for different canvas sizes at additional charges. You may enquire within.
