02 - Treetop FlyerThe Treetop Flyer is a one-room treehouse with a loft, wrap-around porch, and lower deck. There are 2 full-sized, fold-out futons on the main floor and 2 full-sized mattresses in the loft. there is NO PLUMBING OR ELECTRIC, but there are battery-powered lanterns, spring water, a propane fireplace, and an outhouse. There is a centrally-located, shared-use kitchen for guests and a seasonal (Apr - Nov) bath house with flush toilets and showers. Please read the NOTE if booking after Nov. 1st 2020.
Arthur Lakes Log CabinSet in the heart of the Daniel Boone National Forest the Arthur Lakes Log Cabin is both easy to get to and relatively secluded. Nestled in a small valley, the quaint cabin is a perfect mountain getaway. Built in 1890, by the Lakes family, it has a romantic, rustic and nostalgic feel. If you are a history buff, interested in Appalachian culture, or just want a charming, outdoorsy and secluded getaway, this cabin is for you. Cedar Tree CabinThe cabin is about 13 miles from McKee town where there are places to eat and grocery shop. It is also about 15 miles from Berea, the Historic Boone Tavern. We are by the Pinnacle and multiple other hiking and riding trails close by. Information about nearby areas and activities will be provided. Very spacious and comfy with plenty of places to park. There are stairs leading to the front door, there is also a back door with no stairs. Central heat and air as well as a pellet stove.
