Stadtführung durch Asheville mit Tipps
Pay what you want in the end! We will start downtown in Pack Square to learn about the history, architecture, and some of the local legends surrounding Asheville! During our tour, we will be sure to cover all major landmarks like the Basilica of St Lawrence, and the Grove Park Arcade, but we will also go off the beaten path to explore the Block, the YMI, Woolworth Walk's old-timey soda fountain, and Wall St's catwalk! During the trip, I will be providing insider tips on the best places to eat, drink and play for the best prices, including the places where locals hang out for free! We will discuss hidden gems that many people walk by daily without ever noticing an eagle overhead, the faces engraved on the wall, or secret mice! We will dive deeper into Asheville's "buy local" culture and what that means for companies who get listed as "sell-outs." Also, we will discuss stories of sabotage, controversy, and little-known success stories of previous residents! We will also check out a cool museum called Leaf Global and taste local spirits from a distillery and ice cream from the Hop! At the end, my guest will get discount beer tickets to taste some local brews from one of Asheville's finest, local breweries called Twin Leaf. Kneipentour durch Asheville mit SUP oder Kajak
We will be exploring a couple of the best breweries of Asheville by SUP and kayak! 21&up. Get your friends together for a river caravan down the French Broad! This river is flat and wide, an easy beginner run, winding through the river arts district. Our guides will help you learn to kayak or SUP if you are new to it. It is a scenic and fun way to get to the breweries. Great for groups, solo travelers or couples, because you make friends with your crew throughout the afternoon. We have dry bags for personal items, dress to get wet and still be able to walk a block or two. Our takeouts are riverside banks, not docks, so ability to get out of your boat and walk up a trail is required. A sample or two can be provided at the breweries, but bring your wallet to purchase beer and food.

Sunset Trail Run at Black Balsam Knob
Join me at Black Balsam Knob for an epic 5ish-mile trail run you will never forget! We'll enjoy commanding 360-degree views from "bald" mountaintops lined with history, wildflowers, and of course - amazing views of that stretch as far as Tennessee, South Carolina, and even Georgia. I take TONS of photos, and I'll send them to you afterward to use as you'd like. Our route can be divided into 2 parts. First, we'll climb up the Art Loeb Trail over Black Balsam Knob, then Tennent Mtn., just above 6,000'. The views are nothing short of epic, and any local runner would agree that the area offers the best views of the sunset and sunrise in the region. The second portion of our loop follows a historic logging path, and is much more gradual and "runnable." Trail running experience is recommended, but we can also tackle this experience at a hiking pace, if running isn't your style. I'll provide water, snacks, and anything else you may need prior, and if you'd like to stick around for a cold beverage afterward - I'll bring a 6-pack of local brews from my friends at UpCountry Brewing. Non-alcoholic options are available as well. All paces, ages, and abilities are welcomed to book, even if you're traveling solo. Please reach out with any questions or date requests, or to inquire about my other running tour experiences I offer through White Dot Adventures.

If there is rain in the forecast for your tour, your guide will reach out before the trip to discuss alternative options such as moving to a different date. If the weather becomes dangerous and we must cancel the trip, you will receive a full refund.

Kaffeewanderung zu drei Wasserfällen
Love hiking and coffee? You've found the right place. We have over 300 waterfalls around Brevard and searching different trail websites gets confusing to try and pick which one to visit, so I will make it easy, we’ll visit three of my personal favorites along a 3.5 mile loop. The terrain is mostly even, gravel trail with two steep sections (about 70 yards) that will get your heart pumping, but the views are worth the climbs. To me there's nothing better than slowing down to appreciate the moment in nature with a great cup of coffee (and new friends!). On this hike you will try my locally roasted coffee medium roast, called "Trail Magic". I recently hired the best hiking guides in WNC and we can't wait to lead you on a coffee hike! Here's our plan. 1. We will meet at The Hooker Falls parking area in DuPont State Forest, and hike to Hooker Falls. Here we'll break to brew and share coffee together. You'll learn how to make coffee in the woods including how to filter water from the waterfall. 2. We'll head to Triple Falls. It's up a steep climb but we will take our time and the view is totally worth it. 3. After some pictures of Triple Falls, we'll keep hiking on to High Falls, a stunning end to our adventure. Need a different date or time from what's listed? We have multiple guides, so please send date and time requests and we will do our best to accommodate!
Naturspaziergang & Hochlandrinder

We will share with you about the breed of cows we have and what they are known for. We will explore how they interact with each of us their mannerisms and irresistible cuteness. While circling the pastures we have other animals you may interact with that include 5 Scottish highland cows and their 2 calves who were born in spring 2019, 2022 our goats and our sweet rescue horse Eli &livestock guardian dogs. We will end our visit at the west pasture sharing treats with the animals sharing our time in the forests with them. Ending our time with hot tea, coffee. Other things to note Wear good closed toe shoes for hike and you may not mind getting dirty, clothes you can interact with animals. Hiking stick, jacket if cold, bottle of water. For families with children 6 or younger message us privately to book we have a tour made specifically for little ones. No dogs please as not all dogs like cows. One more thing if the weather is bad don’t worry we will see cows.. but will replace hike with the historic farmhouse tour listed under our experiences..

We are excited to offer visitors an experience to get their hands in clay and work on a potters wheel. This hands-on pottery experience will introduce beginners to the magic of throwing clay on a potters wheel in a small intimate setting. Your teacher will patiently guide you along the way. NOTE: From start to finish the process for making a pot takes several days given the need to throw, dry, trim, bisque, glaze, and fire. It's because of the long process of completing a pot that WE ARE NOT ABLE TO OFFER PARTICIPANTS THE OPTION OF TAKING THEIR POTS HOME after just a couple hours in the studio. There will not be a finished pot to take home, pickup later or have shipped to you. You will have a great time experiencing what it’s like throwing clay on the potters wheel! Upon arrival we'll do a tour of the studio and explain the process of making a pot from beginning to end. You will see our wood kiln, and we'll explain how we fire. After the tour, we will roll up our sleeves and put on our aprons. You will be taught basic throwing skills through demonstrations on the potters wheel with step-by-step instructions. After a demonstration, guests will have the opportunity to try the potters wheel on their own and will be guided with techniques along the way. Aprons are supplied. Please wear comfortable clothing you won’t mind getting clay on and have long hair tied back.
